Melissa Taylor is a fashion designer currently based in Dallas, Texas.   She sculpts and hand dyes carefully sourced fabric into dreamy, brooding clothing with a powerful physical presence.

In 2023 Melissa was named Best Fashion Designer by the Dallas Observer and was nominated for the Rising Star Award in Fashion Design by FGI Dallas.

In addition to designing and producing her clothing line, Taylor has worked in the fashion industry as a pattern maker, model, runway show producer, and teacher. Before landing in Dallas, she lived in Virginia, Ukraine, Germany, Indiana, and Austin, TX.

Melissa currently works as a patternmaker and tailor for Dallas Couture designer Mackenzie Brittingham.
